To create my final photoshop image I took a close up picture of my eyeball. I also took a picture of me taking a picture of myself in the mirror. I then opened both images in photoshop. Firstly I cropped the picture of my eyeball so its more focused on my eye rather than the area around my eye. I then cut out the picture of me and my camera using the magic wand tool. I then shrunk the image of me and the camera so it would fit into the pupil of my eye. I then used the eraser tool with an opacity of about 60 to erase the edges and to create a smooth fade rather than a bold outline. I then used the spherize filter to create a fish eye effect, this was to try to get the image in the pupil to appear curved, like the eyeball itself. I then set the layer inside the pupil to about 50% transparency.
